For those of you who knew and befriended a member by the name of SoulShroude, I am pleased to announce his recent return to our VR community. Due to circumstances at the time he left VR, he deleted his account. Unfortunately, as he has returned with the new name of 'vvSoulshroudevv' he is a whelp and has very limited messaging abilities at this time. He has been able to reach a few old friends, and I have the honor of asking that anyone who knew him to please revisit his profile and add him once again as he is very eager to rekindle old ties. If you do not remember him, I would urge you to take it upon yourself to get to know this fine fellow. You shall not regret it!



I welcome you back wholeheartedly, my old friend, and hope that your stay on VR will be an extended one as many have missed you!!

My father had his first consultation with his actual surgeons yesterday (Nov. 6th). They informed him that not only does he have the 2 massive aneurysms on his aorta as previously known before, but that they have detected another quite large aneurysm just behind his heart itself (3 total now). Also, he was told that before he can have even the slightest chance of a successful heart surgery(s), he must have his gallbladder removed first, otherwise it would be a potentially lethal problem if not addressed, or if addressed after the heart surgery(s).

And! To top it all off, he must go in for these many surgeries before thanksgiving because if not done asap, he will not live.

Please continue to pray for my father, and for the rest of my family as well. My mother is coming apart at the seams. And is all alone without anyone to be there for her for (in person, at least, since my sister and myself are both residing some distance away from her at present, at least.)

My sister needs the strength to see beyond herself. She is so distressed by this news that she has alienated herself from my family and refuses to even call our father because it just makes her too sad to even talk to him. I know that my father needs her support now more than ever, and that if she does not contact him sometime before, well, if the worst happens, she will regret for years to come the lack of communication she is now demonstrating between them.

As for myself, though I have seen the most heinous atrocities of this world first-hand in my life, this is the first time I have ever felt true "fear"...perhaps it is just being truly powerless to personally affect change in the outcome of events to come...
